These iconic toys from the 90s have now become collector’s items and worth much more than what they originally sold for. If you’re lucky, you can still find them at garage sales and thrift stores. Bop It / Bop It Extreme
Bop it was one of the most addictive games of the 1990’s. It had three major functions, and all you had to do was follow them in order. It was quite simple, you either had to twist it, pull it, or bop it. Simple right? 🙂 In new condition, the Bop It is going for $90 dollars. The Bop It Extreme is going for $125 dollars.
The electronic talking half-alien, half-gremlin toy that every kid wanted. The robotics were state-of-the-art back in the day. Original first edition Furbys are now going for $90 dollars.
American Girl Dolls
If you were a girl (maybe boys too) growing up in the 90’s, you probably wanted American Girl dolls. They were absolutely beautiful and huge compared to all of the other dolls on the market. American Girl Dolls’ two most popular discontinued dolls Felicity and Samantha are worth around $200 each.
Tamagotchi was the toy every kid wanted and it was so far ahead of its time. You could own virtual pet right there on key-chained size device. Original Tamagotchis are valued between $50-200 dollars these days.
Super Soaker 50
The iconic air-powered water blaster was introduced in the 90s. Summer months was changed forever after the introduction of the super soaker. There were many different variants over the years but the original is now worth around $150 dollars.
This gold version was made for a select few Nintendo Power magazine subscribers can now fetch upwards of $200.
Girl Talk Original Game
Linux for PS2
Most people enjoyed playing games on their PS2 but a few wanted to run Linux instead. Very few copies were made and Linux PS2 copies are worth a cool $100 if you can find them.
Easy Bake Oven
This ionic easy bake oven from the 90s allowed kids to bake their own cookies and cupcakes. These now fetch at least $60 dollars if still new.
